All ½ measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and measured from side to side (not all the way around). This helps you compare the measurements to a similar item you already own and love the fit of.
A. LENGTHMeasure from the top of the waistband straight down to the bottom of the leg cuff.
B. WAISTWith the garment laid flat, measure straight across the top of the waistband from edge to edge. Ensure the fabric is smooth and relaxed, without pulling.
C. HIPLay the garment flat and measure straight across the widest part of the hip area from seam to seam. Keep the tape straight and level, allowing the fabric to lie naturally.
D. THIGHLay the garment flat and measure straight across the thigh from seam to seam at the widest point of the leg.
E. BOTTOMMeasure across the leg opening at the cuff from edge to edge while laid flat.

How does the Deryn hoodie fit?
The Deryn hoodie is designed to be easy, flattering and wearable — not too oversized, not too fitted.For reference, I’m a UK size 12 and 5’7”:
- I prefer a small for a neater fit
- I wear a medium for a more slouchy, relaxed feel
- I have a medium in the cream as I specifically wanted a more oversized look
- One of the team is a size 18 on top and happily wear a medium or a large.
If you’re between sizes, it really comes down to how you like things to fit — neat vs relaxed.
How do the joggers fit?
The joggers are designed to be flattering through the leg with a comfortable, easy waistband.
For reference, I’m a UK size 12, 5’7”, and carry my weight on my thighs. I wear a small in the joggers for a fit that feels comfortable but still streamlined. But I have mediums too when I want a very relaxed fit.
If you prefer a more relaxed fit, you could size up — but most will find their usual size works well.
What size should I choose?
